book publishing, eBook conversion and document services
Bramley Press: a personal approach
Bramley Press is dedicated to being a quality publishing imprint, with particular genre interests, but I also offer publishing services more widely, to authors, to corporate organisations, and to other publishers.
I have over 30 years experience in publishing and document services, from academic publishing, through technical documentation, training materials and research reports, to marketing materials. In all that time my keynote has been efficiency. I like to get things right first time with least effort: don’t you?
But I am also a writer, proof-reader and editor, so I understand other authors, as well as being able to edit or write copy for you.
Bramley Press is my imprint, but I do a lot of work for other clients to take what they do to professional design standard. Unless you do this kind of work all the time, it is quite hard to learn how, do your best, forget and then learn all over again next time. And maybe document and book design aren’t your forté anyway.
So whether you are another publisher wanting design and editorial services (including Kindle and ePub conversions), an author with a book, or in an organisation wishing report production or PowerPoint presentations just looked more professional, more your brand – and easier to do, contact me and let’s see what a difference we can make.
I also design websites (like this one and bigger), write, and edit content. For examples and more see my Website Page.
Publication of Laura Newman’s A Love Less Ordinary ... sharing life, laughter and handbags with my transgender partner. The true story of partnership with someone who is transgender, and realising what a healthy relationship can and should be.
Publication of Larry Garner’s amazing autobiographical account To Oz and Back. A fun roller-coaster of real life as a ‘ten pound pom’ in the Australian Outback.
Publication of Andie Davidson’s poetry collection, Realisations. Incisive and powerful poetry on coming to terms with a transgender identity.
Publication of Jonathan Chamberlain’s Cancer Survivor’s Bible and Fighting Cancer website (where the book can be found).
Publication of Grrl Alex, a must-read for anyone interested in experiential and research angles on transgender.
Production of Jonathan Chamberlain’s novel, Dreams of Gold. Very topical for 2012 and a jolly good read.
